Looks like people haven’t learned the most important lesson of our generation. It is that the internet is extremely public and anything you do on it can and will be seen by somebody. Case in point: A Best Buy employee will probably be canned due to two YouTube movies that he or she created which make fun of iPhone and EVO 4G fanboys. Apparently Best Buy wasn’t exactly thrilled with either movie, that have combined to total 2.5 million views. The reason for Best Buy’s displeasure is unclear, as neither movie mentioned the electronic retailer’s name. Regardless of the reason, the employee deserves whatever they get. People continue to be naïve when it comes to the internet and how in reality it is a megaphone that can and will reach everyone eventually. Some examples are porn, political affiliation and making fun of products being sold by your employer.
