It is quite commonplace in the wireless industry for companies to release new devices slowly across the globe. Apple is chief in this terminology, often debuting a product in new countries over the span of several months. Apparently Samsung is not familiar with this line of thinking. The long anticipated Samsung Galaxy S. is rumored to become available in July in over 110 countries simultaneously. The Android powered phone will come with a Super AMOLED screen and a 5MP camera, along with a 1GHz processor. The rumors regarding the availability of the Samsung Galaxy S. are in line with previous rumors that speculated that the device will be available on all major U.S. carriers. While none of this has obviously been confirmed, the publication Korea IT Times firmly believes that this is Samsung’s modus operandi. Samsung plans on releasing both 8GB and 16GB versions of the phone.
