We all pretty much concur that America is full of heathens, vagrants and ne’er do wells that will stop at nothing to upgrade their monetarily depressing lives. Our latest case of ‘I’m too lazy or stupid to make an honest living’ comes from the great city of New York. A woman is suing Burger King for five million dollars due to what she claims is a rash of unsolicited text messages she received from the fast food giant over the last several months. The total amount of harassing text messages is… three. Now let’s put aside the actual logic of the lawsuit, because we can pretty much agree that it is a get rich quick scheme. How can anybody living in contemporary society claim to be annoyed by three text messages over a span of several months. We live in an information age where people are constantly bombarded with neither information they need nor care for. However, this is part of our existence and those individuals that don’t like it are welcome to leave the city and find a nice cave in Honduras to love in.
