Net Nanny, the internet child guardian and free information denier, is now available for mobile phones. For those of you not familiar with the software, Net Nanny is an internet security program that prevents certain criminal elements from taking advantage of the user and more importantly, shields adolescents from pornography and other shady activities. The new Net Nanny Mobile is powered by SMobile Systems and features a log of all voice communications, all pictures that are on or were on the phone. In addition, Net Nanny Mobile offers phone location, GPS tracking via Google Maps and much more. Though not cheap, Net Nanny Mobile will run you a one time fee of thirty dollars, it may be worth the investment for concerned parents or suspicious bosses. The newer version of Net Nanny Mobile, scheduled for release in 2010, will include internet filtering and a revamped web administration panel. All in all, this will be great for parents, but not so good for little Timmy, who just wanted to see a little bit of porn on his phone.
