Snapcase was formed in Buffalo, NY by Daryl Taberski (singer), Bob Whiteside (bass), Jon Salemi and Scott Dressler (both: guitar), and Tim Redmond (drums). They signed the music contract with the Victory label, which released their first full-length album entitled Lookinglasself in 1995. The Progression Through LP followed in 1997.
