Bill Conti started his way to fame in 1976 with soundtrack for "Rocky". The soundtrack album went platinum, and the main theme, "Gonna fly now" reached the top of the U.S. pop charts. Conti united with Sylvester Stallone for chapters two, three and five in the Rocky series, as well as 1978's F.I.S.T. and Paradise Alley. In 1981 Conti created soundtrack to the James Bond feature "For your eyes only". That track reached the first position in Top Five and was sung by Sheena Easton.
