Asleep at the wheel played very unusual mixture of west swing, traditional jazz, country, blues and some other styles. While preparing their debut album, the musicians made several witty arrangements of jazz standards. One of it, named "One o'clock jump" (from Kaunt Beisy's repertoire), got Grammy, but it happened only in 1978.
