Ali Friend (bass), Richard Thair (drums), and David Ayers (guitar) founded the jazz band named Red Snapper in 1993. The group's first self-titled The Snapper EP was released in 1995. The following year they produced their debut album called Prince Blimey. In 2002 the Our Aim Is to Satisfy Red LP appeared, and the same year groupmembers disbanded.
