Steini Fjelsted, Hossi Olafsson, Solvi Blondal, and Omar Swarez founded the Iceland group Quarashi in 1996. The band released its first own-signed album in 1997. Two years later they returned with Xeneizes. In addition, in 2002, the Jinx LP appeared; it was the first band's album, which was released in the USA.
