Jim Messina (bass), Richie Furay (vocals and guitar), Randy Meisner (vocals and bass), George Grantham (drums), and Rusty Young (guitar) founded the country band named Poco at the end of the 60's. They released their first own-signed album called Pickin' Up the Pieces in 1969.
