Venus is known to be formed in the beginning of the 90th Rosemary Vargas when she was still a school girl. The band also comprised such musicians as singer Andrea Alarcon, guitarists Celia and Marianela Zurita, and drummer Claudia Celis. Then bassist Claudia Parra joined the band. The band debuted with Ataque de Zorrita which was issued by BMG in 1996.
