The group named Platypus was founded at the end of the 70's in Cincinnati. Guitarist/vocalist Kerry Rutledge, vocalist Arthur Stokes, guitarist Larry Hines, keyboardist/drummer Curtis Sanford, and bassist Lloyd Jones formed it.
