The Christian rock group Chasing Furies is a family affair. The founders of it are two sisters, vocalist and songwriter Sarah Meeker and vocalist Rachel, and their older brother, Joshua, who writes, sings, and plays guitar. As their father was a music minister, three children performed together long before they thought of a serious musical career. In 1996 in a local coffeehouse was the first band's appearance outside of family or church.
