This Friday, Apple will make the iPad available in nine additional countries. The countries are New Zealand, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Singapore, Mexico, Luxemburg, Hong Kong and Ireland. The iPad has been a huge hit for Apple since its release in April of this year, selling over 3.5 million units. Apple has promised to make the iPad available in more countries before the end of the year, though no word has been released regarding which. Increasing the distribution of the iPad will obviously help makes this an ever more successful year than it has already been for the Cupertino based tech manufacturer. Apple has recently announced that the second quarter of 2010 was the company's most successful to date. When compared to the second quarter of 2009, sales of the iPhone and Mac computer increased by 60 and 30 percent respectively. Apple CEO Steve Jobs has also announced that his company plans on releasing several new devices before the end of the year.
