    No iPods for North Korea

    01 Dec 2006 - 10:04 AM |

What have iPods and nuclear bombs have in common at least similar in them? Well the nuclear bomb was used by US to demolish Japan decades ago, now iPods are being use to stop nuclear bomb development in the neighboring country of North Korea. So history seems to have come a full circle. Not clear yet just keep reading.

You surely must have heard of economic sanctions against Iran, or some other countries which have some sort of problem with the international community. So what sort of things can those sanctions cover? Well among other things they cover iPods as well. Might seem a matter for a hearty laugh but there is someone in the higher echelons of power in the US who thinks banning iPods is a good way of demonstrating displeasure over the nuclear policy of N Korea.

It’s a totally different thing how much this is going to be effective which S Korea and Japan, the neighboring countries full of all sorts of hi-tech mobile phones. Moreover such sanction would not affect the common people but probably the leader Kim Jong II who seems to have a passion for such things. Do you remember your school days when you fought like kids... grow up somebody!
