The San Francisco band introduced a new style, has practically created a new genre, with their 1987 Introduce Yourself album. When Mike Patton joined Faith No More a year later, the band would also have a highly talented vocalist to add even more funk into the mix and carry the band beyond a cult following and on to MTV.
