About Rush
Whereas Rush have been influenced by some of the greatest band of the 60s and 70s, such as Cream and Led Zeppelin, the Canadian trio has never been more than a group of instrumental virtuosos. Rush have been just another band, even if highly successful commercially and praised for their instrumental skills. Their legacy remains alive in the music of Metallica and Primus, perhaps, but no more so than the bands that preceded and influenced them.
