How does it work?

In Funtonia, we use Mobile Internet as the main & optimized channel of transferring our products into your cell phone. After sign in you'll have a free access to your account in Funtonia website (on your PC & cell phone as well) - after choosing your wishful ringtones & wallpapers they will transfer automatically into 'My Downloads' area (on the WEB site) Then you will have several functionality options to locate the files & enter them into your mobile device through our WAP site;
a. Downloading using our fast SMS service; after submitting into our site & choosing your files (by clicking: 'download') we will move those files automatically into the 'My Downloads' area and send to you a short SMS link, which is half way to get it. Saving it as your ringtone, or wallpaper will finish the delivery - Simple & Easy! If you already downloaded & wish to download the same file again, just repeat the action above.
b. Second recommended & optimized option is to enter WAP / Mobile Internet browser in your cell phone using the address; WAP.FUNTONIA.COM - put your phone number in (no password required) - it will lead & show you 3 main topics which are also links (Ringtones, polyphonic & wallpapers) this is 'My Downloads' but, inside your mobile. Then, just pick the tune or Pic & make it as your wallpaper or as your ringer.
c. USB option suggests that, you'll get the tone or wallpaper without using SMS or internet a and it is intent to use by cell phone that do not have the INTERNET capability; So, after choosing your wishful files here in our web-site, Go to 'My Downloads' are, click on save (on the right) - you can also use 'Save target as' (right click using your mouse) save it on your desktop computer and make the transfer into your phone device using a USB cable.

What is Wap and how do I manage it?

WAP is your Internet mobile browser that makes it possible for your phone to connect to the Internet. If your phone is not WAP enabled, no worries - you can still download the material the same as Internet-enabled cell phones. Most recommended & optimized option is to enter your mobile browser the address WAP.FUNTONIA.COM - put your cell phone number inside (no password required) - it will lead & show you 3 main links (Ringtones, polyphonic & wallpapers) this is 'My Downloads' but, inside your mobile. Then, just pick the tune or Pic & make it as you are wallpaper or as you are ringer. Sound complicated. Well, it takes at most 30 seconds to make it work.
On your mobile set a bookmark in your phone's browser for wap.funtonia.com. If you do not want to make a bookmark, you can just type in the address in your phone's browser. Once you arrive at wap.funtonia.com, you will have to enter your mobile number in the login box, which will take you directly to My Downloads. You will see all your tones and graphics in My Downloads. Using your mobile keypad, simple click onto the file you want and it will download into your phone.

In order to change your password - All you need is to step into 'Change Password' page & confirm. If it does not work - please Contact Us & we will change it for you.
c. How do I change my primary number or my email?
In order to change your primary number or email or both - you will need to step into 'Contact Us' & send all new information via mail. We will take care & change it for you.
d. How do I add more numbers to my account?
Simple, please step into 'Account Details' & add / change the numbers you wish to join into our service - Do not forget to press on Submit to confirm.

Placing tunes inside 'My Download'

First, log into Funtonia.com from your computer and browse your favorite from our collection of tunes. You can preview the tunes by clicking on the Listen link. If you want to download a tune into your mobile phone, click Download. This will automatically place the tune into 'My Downloads' area. You will receive a text message with the Web address to save your tune in your mobile device.

Downloading tunes and graphics in to my cell phone using WAP

The best way to move a tone from 'My Downloads' to your phone is through WAP,
In order to do so you will need to enter www.funtonia.com (in your computer) choose all of
your wishful products & send it (will not be made automatically) to the required number.
Then, enter into wap.funtonia.com in your mobile browser, type in your cell phone
number (no password required) & click on the product in order to download & save it in your mobile.

Downloading funtonia's most updated mp3's & graphics into my iPhone:

In order to put any type of Funtonia ringtones into your iPhone (mp3 + polyphonic) please follow our quick steps below:
a. Click on the 'Download Ringtone' link and save the file to a folder in your computer where you
would like to store your ringtones.
b. Once the file has downloaded - please open iTunes and drag your new ringtone from its folder into
the ringtones area inside your iTunes.
c. Sync (using the appropriate USB cable) your iPhone with your computer and set your ringtone on.

What should I do if I recently send the selected file to my phone, and have not received it?

In order to uncover the problem you must verify the following:
a. You are using the correct phone carrier within your Funtonia account.
b. You have not changed carriers or phone numbers without contacting Funtonia support
c. You have text messaging and Internet enabled for your cellphone. In addition, sometimes depending on the time of the day, your carrier can experience technical holdbacks delivering a text message, so we suggest you to give it a little time.

After I opened received SMS / text message, how do I download the files into my cellphone & make it active?
|
|
The text message holds a web link to the files that you wish to download and apply. On some mobile devices, it is easier than on others. Once you have opened the text message with the link, you use the phone's arrow keys to scroll through the message until the link is highlighted. After that, you must click either "Go" or "Ok" or "Navigate" or the "Green Button" on your phone to follow the link.
Some phones start playing the ringtone or display the wallpaper. If this is what occurs, you must press the menu button on your cellphone to observe the choices for the ringtone or wallpaper being display. Select the "Save" or "Save Media" or "Apply" option to save the file to the phone. Other cellphones automatically encourage you to save the file, which is much more convenient.
After you save the ringtone or wallpaper to your phone, you can start relating it with a caller or trying to make the ringtone or image the default for the cellphone. If your cellphone supports per caller ringtones/wallpaper, you can go to your contact list and choose a contact. Once you are in the contact list, select the option to customize ringtone or picture.
