About U2
The early music released by U2 was a minimalist rock, aggressive in nature but far from the English punk movement that preceded them by a few years. Each album that followed, from their follow up October, through they first #1 War, through Joshua Tree, Achtung Baby and up to How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, U2 have introduced a new style, a variation, a sound or a theme.
