About Tool
Tool arrived on the progressive rock scene in 1990, in California, at a time when rock music in the US was dominated by grunge, but none of this seemed to concern them. Tool developed a unique dark sound, with underground metal guitars and menacing vocals, creating an art rock form that equally drew from Pink Floyd and Faith No More. Taking their music seriously, Tool have nevertheless been down to earth and dedicated only to their art.
