About Sting
Immediately after Police disbanded, Sting began to work hard at making a name for himself as a viable solo artist. He was always interested in expanding the limits of pop music, and this is evident in his late work as well, where he is always changing and trying new things. Sting has always gotten mixed reviews. There are those that say he is at the forefront of intelligent pop, while there those that say that he is merely pompous.
