About Steve Earle
Steve Earle is known not only for his country music but also for his political views, which are liberal, untraditional in the country music scene. He started out as a songwriter, in Nashville, with the help of a friend, and soon enough, a few years later in 1981, Steve Earle wrote a Top 10 single with When You Fall in Love, recorded by Johnny Lee. His first solo album was released only in 1986.
