Slim Thug has come a long way since his small time, local Houston mixtapes with Swishahouse fellows. In 2006 Slim Thug already won an MTV Music Award. Slim Thug helped write and performed on the Beyonce track Check On It, which won Beyonce and him the award for Best R&B Video.
