Not often does an Icelandic band become famous anywhere outside of Iceland. Sad but true. However, this is exactly what Sigur Ros have done, and very well, too. With their port-rock sound, slightly new age rock, if there is such a thing, Sigur Ros compose and create a sound that is all their own.
