The Scorpions proved that hard work pays off. The hard working hard rock band released a series of albums in the 70s, working through various lineups, until in the 80s their sound developed into a coherent style, which so happened to be the fashionable style on MTV and around the world. Rock You Like a Hurricane, the Scorpions' first hit single, released in 1984, brought their name not only to the world of metal but also to the distinguished list of greatest metal songs ever, at #31.
