Influenced by the Notorious BIG, Rick Ross is almost as large as the dead rapper. His success measures up, although it is early to determine long term effect and harder yet to imagine anyone reaching Biggie Smalls status. Rick Ross however has done everything right so far, from landing a multi-million dollar contract to record for Def Jam to releasing a best-selling debut album, Port of Miami, in 2006, so far his only one.
