Having played with jazz legends and being one himself, you do not want to be on the other side of any criticism coming from Pat Metheny. One person who is in the hot seat is smooth jazz sax player Kenny G. Pat Metheny has once expressed what he thinks of Kenny G, blaming him for overdubbing Louis Armstrong, saying it disrespects not only Louis, but everyone who has ever listened to Louis as well. Metheny himself would probably never be accused of ringing modern culture to a low point, as he has once blamed Kenny G of doing.
