About P.O.D.
P.O.D. started off in Christian circles but have since made their way to frequent MTV2 airtime and a contract with a major record label. The album The Fundamental Elements of Southtown (1999) already went platinum. The positive message which P.O.D. carries in its music helped its music reach over the radio to many Americans following the 9/11 terror attacks, which happened coincidentally on the day their album Satellite was released.
