In 1953 Oscar Peterson, Herb Ellis and Barney Kessel formed the jazz band. The group had a great success, but in 1958 Herb Ellis left it; soon he was replaced by Ed Thigpen. In the beginning of the 60's Oscar Peterson continued his career in Toronto in Advanced School of Contemporary Music.
