About Orbital
Brothers Paul and Phil Hartnoll formed a techno duo in 1989, carried on the raves of the times, which took place near the M25 orbital motorway that circles London, hence their name – Orbital. At first, Orbital recorded electro and punk rock influenced music, but they quickly became an influential band themselves, quite popular and with a unique sound, which featured complex arrangements and textures.
