About Napalm Death
Grindcore band Napalm Death may not have been the first ones to play this style music – an angry mix of thrash metal and hardcore punk, but they are the first to use the term grindcore to describe the style. Like Repulsion, Siege, Lärm, Heresy and Cryptic Slaughter at the time, Napalm Death played fast songs with aggressiveness and deep guttural vocals that have defined grindcore for the years to follow.
