About Muddy Waters
It is hard to imagine the post war blues scene in Chicago, blues in general, electric guitar playing and rock and roll without the pivotal contribution of Muddy Waters. Born in the Mississippi Delta and later building his way up to Chicago, Muddy Waters drove a truck during the day and played the blues clubs at night. His songs Hoochie Coochie Man, I Just Want to Make Love to You and I'm Ready, played loud with his electric guitar, drew the crowd's attention and changed music for good.
