About Morrissey
Former Smiths lead vocalist Morrissey has written some of the best songs in British rock history as a member of The Smiths and as a solo artist since 1988, a year after the Smiths broke up. Suedehead, off his first album Viva Hate, was the inspiration for the name of the band Suede, and the music of Morrissey at large was the inspiration of many musicians to follow him.
