About Judas Priest
With K.K. Downing and Glenn Tipton both playing lead guitar, Judas Priest is of the first bands to have done so. Guitar driven metal styles of later years, such as speed and thrash, have originated and been widely influenced by the Judas Priest style of playing. Vocalist Rob Halford's high-pitched voice too is a major influence on the metal genre.
