Ian Dury is said to have been as weird as any rock musician could be. A completely fringe character, Ian Dury was handicapped but his followers found his stage charisma irresistible. Musically too Ian Dury was a unique artist, managing to create a sound, with his group Ian Dury and the Blockheads that mixed late 70s disco with punk rock.
