About Gregorian
At first Gregorian tried to record original pop music with Gregorian chant influences, more in the line of Enigma, another traditional-meets-pop group. After a single album released in this style, the German act devised a new style in which popular songs are chosen based on their tonal structure and recorded in Gregorian style with 12 vocalists. Gregorian released eight additional albums in this style.
