About Grandaddy
Founded in 1992 in California, Grandaddy first released several self-financed albums and EPs, and their main studio albums to date count only four. Their reputation, however, as one of the most important, influential and innovative rock bands is guaranteed. They joined Elliott Smith at the time, warming up his concerts, and had him join them on stage several times for the song He's Simple, He's Dumb, He's the Pilot.
