About Grace Jones
From dance in the late 70s – and a successful career at that – Grace Jones moved with the times to the New Wave style music changing her own style as well. Grace Jones did not work alone, although she was a solo artist. Andy Warhol accompanied her for several years in the late 70s while she was a dance hit maker, and then she partnered with Jean-Paul Goude, a stylist whom Grace Jones would eventually marry, and who was responsible for her androgynous look.
