About Godsmack
Although Alice in Chains came from Seattle and Godsmack are from Boston, there are few other differences between the two hard rock groups. However, Godsmack incorporate other influences in their music, from Aerosmith, who like them are from Boston, to Judas Priest and Black Sabbath. Initially a grunge cover band, Godsmack are now a prominent group of the Nu Metal and hard rock scenes.
