About Eurythmics
Starting off, the Eurythmics mixed the detached synthesizer sound with groovy pop tunes. When this succeeded, they turned even more experimental, adding soul and R&B to the mixture. The bottom line can be counted in albums sold – 75 million, or in the number of hits the Eurythmics have authored, songs that are listened to today and often receive respective cover versions, such as Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of These), There Must Be an Angel (Playing with My Heart) and Missionary Man.
