About Creedence Clearwater Revival
This northern California rock group was actually much more in tune with southern, Louisiana blues music. Creedence Clearwater Revival were influenced by the New Orleans swamps, not the San Francisco Bay Area, with their music and their choice of titles. Creedence Clearwater Revival albums were called Born on the Bayou and Mardi Gras, for example, though their album cover art was psychedelic and becoming of San Francisco.
