Coal Chamber is a popular musical group from Los Angeles, California. The band's musical style can be described as a combination of nu metal and alternative metal. Coal Chamber signed to Roadrunner Records and recorded their first album (both in 1996) for their self-titled debut in 1997.Their next album was released in fall of 1999 entitled "Chamber Music".
