About Chic
Chic is a very popular musical group from New York City, New York. The band's musical style can be described as a combination of funk, disco and dance. In late 1978 Chic released "C'est Chic", containing one of their best known tracks, "Le Freak". The famous refrain "Aaa, freak out" was originally intended to be "Aaa, fuck off", conceived as a protest song to the club Studio 54.
