About Chet Baker
Chet Baker is a much respected West coast jazz singer and musician that originally comes from Yale, Oklahoma. In 1952, Baker joined the Gerry Mulligan Quartet, which was an instant phenomenon. Chet Baker became famous on the strength of his solo on their recording of "My Funny Valentine", a song with which he became intimately associated. Several things made the Mulligan/Baker group special.
