Canned Heat is a highly-acclaimed musical group from Los Angeles, California. The band's musical style can be described as a blend of blues, blues-rock and rock and roll. The group was led by Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson (guitar, harmonica, vocals) and Bob Hite ("The Bear") (vocals, harmonica). The original line up of Canned Heat included Keith Sawyer on drums, Mike Perlowin on lead guitar and Stuart Brotman on bass.
