Experimental late 60s German band Can have stuck around with ons and offs for many years throughout the 70s. Can keyboardist described the group as an "anarchist community," their sound too was largely improvisational, developed instantaneously on stage and in recording studios. Their influence on the avant garde electronic music scene to follow was greater than any commercial success they have ever encountered.
