About Calexico
Joey Burns and John Convertino are the two main members of Calexico. The music collective from Arizona was founded by the two after they met in 1990 when in California. Through several changes and a move to the Southwest, Calexico was formed in 1996. by 1998, with the band's second album The Black Light, Calexico started receiving the critical attention their music demanded and later even making it into respectable chart positions of billboard and the Independent Albums list.
