the Butthole Surfers returned in 1996 with Electriclarryland, scoring a major chart hit with the trip-hop-flavored 'Pepper.' Their next album was not released due to disputes between them and Columbia records, their label. Three years later, Butthole Surfers emerged with their first for Hollywood/Surfdog Records, Weird Revolution, that had some songs from the unreleased album, but with new recordings.
