About Burning Spear
Recording and performing roots reggae and dub since 1969, Burning Spear won a Grammy Award for the first time, after many nominations, in 1999. Calling Rastafari was the album, which was moody and introspective. It helped Burning Spear in launching a successful North American tour and founding a record label, his own, called Burning Spear Records.
