About Bruce Springsteen
When Bruce springsteen released his third album, Darkness on the Edge of Town, he followed the same basic formula that had made his previous albums hits. However, in the years that had gone by since his last, tastes had changed, and by that time the the punk/new wave movement had outflanked him. Due to other similar rockers, Bruce Springsteen was now seen as a member of an established genre, and not an innovator.
